Keanu – Restaurant Review

While we generally hate using the restroom, eating food, or anything that requires us to leave our desk, the staff at ProfeshBiz.Co do love to see a restaurant moving units.  We would not consider eating out, our Cambridge, MA office can see the restaurant from one of its two windows (see our article on windows usually cutting into productivity), and the line extends, apparently, all the way to Union Square.  After a few phone calls, we discovered that Keanu is indeed moving several food units while keeping human units moving through the door.  It provides mostly units of Chinese food, but there are also alcohol units available.  Here’s to you, Keanu!!

Ricardo M> – A Tireless Worker Unit

It’s not often we here at ProfessionalBusiness.Company get to honor a worker unit who laughs at the prospect of working through the wee hours of the morning.  Ricardo Maduro is one such tireless worker unit.  Whether it’s moving units, exchanging units, or researching units, Mr. Maduro is a worker unit who will not complain.  In fact, he laughs in the face of other worker units’ complaints.

Thank you for setting a positive example Ricardo!  Back to work!

Phriday Phenom – Shoshana S.

Every Friday here at ProfessionalBusiness.Company, we like to stop billing for three minutes to recognize a member of our own business community and remind our readers that if you aren’t making dollars, you aren’t making cents.

Shoshana is one of our favorite attorneys.  She has deep experience with FTC disputes, and, unlike many attorneys, she is someone you will enjoy speaking with.  If you’re going to spend units on an attorney, and you know you will, send those units Shoshana’s way!

Back to work!  Those units will not move themselves.

Ernest Heminway – Unit Mover

Today is Ernest Hemingway’s birthday.  He may be most familiar for his self-help book about the import of moving a significant unit despite several obstacles and the sea, but he also sold several units of books.  For our money, his dispatches from the Spanish Civil War are garbage because, while they are far and away his best writing, they haven’t sold nearly as well as his other written units.

Phriday Phenom – B. Wolfert

Every Friday here at ProfessionalBusiness.Company, we like to stop billing for three minutes to recognize a member of our own business community and remind our readers that if you aren’t making dollars, you aren’t making cents.

Today, our editorial board unanimously chose Benjamin Wolfert.  Aside from his storied career as an attorney who strikes fear into the hearts of opposing counsel, Mr. Wolfert manages his firm’s ice hockey club.  Remember readers, a healthy workforce is a productive workforce!  We’d love to honor Mr. Wolfert with some of the many stories our staff has gathered from his peers, but our break is over.  Back to billing!  That means you reader!!

As China’s Economy Slows, DMS Makes Bold Moves in the United States

Here at ProfessionalBusiness.Company, we know that when the going gets tough, someone has to pay.  Moving units consistently and efficiently typically provides enough security that professional unit makers and their middle-managers feel comfortable getting married, having families, and signing mortgages.  There is, however, one thing other than student debt that prevents our future producer/consumers from entering into meaningful long term relationships with banks that are based in equity and not some undergrad pipe dream about Latin American Studies.  Armed conflict.  We have enjoyed a perhaps unreasonably long time of peace in the United States, and while it is always good to take stock, it may also be worthwhile to do so in a metaphorical manner to examine your life and how you affect those closest to you; your co-workers.

We previously covered the meteoric rise of DMS, a closely held corporation with a lot of potential but no clear path to monetization.  This morning, DMS once again demonstrated why they are in our “must buy or at least watch and consider buying” category.  The internet does not just get Amazon to deliver units of plastic to your consumers faster than ever before, it can be used against us.  Imagine an enemy as efficient and intimately familiar with you as Amazon Prime.

So please.  Whatever you are doing, stop, take a deep breath, and take inventory of your shelves.  Those units don’t restock themselves.  Yet.

Scott Denton Is a Consummate Professional

Scott Denton’s recent move to the West Coast has the Valley abuzz with speculation as to how he will make use of his latest influx of capital.  Denton’s deliciously named Likesyrup raised nearly 400 million positive units in its Series B round.  Tech writers were stunned by the brilliance of Denton’s early diversification after he opened a Shapeways store selling uniquely crafted items that deftly explored the breadth of his experience with 3-D modelling and design.  He has, reportedly, created and exchanged many of these design units for units of another type.  As we all know, exchanging units is the most important thing any business can do, and if you’re not a business, what are you doing with your life?  Scott Denton, we salute you!

This tech reporter is excited to watch as Denton’s professional business continues to take off in the manner often shown via charts with an arrow pointing up and to the right.  Such arrows are typically red because of a last minute snafu made during a pitch by legendary Dr. Sam Eagle Business, but that’s a story for another time.
